Another day, another blog

Today was very interesting. Work at builder helper is starting to take off. I get a new list of things to do everyday I show up. I like working there and really believe the company has a lot of potential. I am excited to see how things will pan out after the builder show next week and the international show in February.

I am in an eBusiness Lecture class that I go to every Wednesday. I have really enjoyed learning about all of the upcoming technologies. Today we had a company come in called Control4. Control4 is a company that uses technology for home automation. I was first introduced to this kind of technology when I got to take a tour of the St. Louis temple before it opened several years ago. The temple has a command center room where all of the lights can be controlled. Also, the temperature of all rooms can be controlled from one place. The concept with control4 is very similar, with a number of additions.

Control4 has a system where you can control nearly everything in your home from temperature in each room...to lights...to music in each room...to movies...and even to security systems. They have a number of gadgets for control such as a true universal remote, panels on the wall or wireless panels. I must say that I was impressed with the presentation they had and I would love to have something like that in my home. You can check them out at http://www.control4.com.
