Guess who's walking!

The past few weeks have been great! Here's what's new.

The house is nearing completion. We have paint, hard surface floors, shower surrounds and light fixtures installed. The exteriors are just about done. The stone, stucco, raingutter, and hardie shingles are all installed.

The only thing left on the exterior is driveway, patio, sidewalks, paint hardie shingles, install garage door, and install the rock wall and deck in the back.

The interiors are just waiting for cabinets, countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, touch up paint, and cleaning. Here are some pictures:

This is the view as you open the front door. There are boxes covering our hardwood floor to keep it from getting scuffed up before we move in.

This is in the basement. The niches were Ritchell's idea. The center will be an entertainment command center that will have built-in desk and shelving.

Mommy and Ana in our new house!

This is the tile in the master bath.

This is the front of the house before the raingutter was installed.

The best news this week is that AnaBelle has started walking! She is still gaining confidence, but is doing great. In a few weeks she'll be off and running. She is already very anxious to explore the world on two feet.

This past week has been nice. No work all week for both Ritchell and I.

I had the chance to go fishing again with my bro-in-law and some of his kids. We ended up going to Deer Creek. It wasn't really a success for me... but the kids caught some fish. It was nice to get out on the lake again.

Ritchell and I picked out appliances the other day for the new house. We can't wait to move in! We're just a bit worried that our house won't sell anytime soon. We've had a good number of people come and look, but no offers yet.

Yesterday we went to Spanish Fork and watched the Pioneer Day parade in the morning with my sister and her family. Then we went to the park and walked around all of the fair booths they had there. We went to a pioneer museum there in Spanish Fork as well.

I enjoyed spending time all day with family.

Hi Dan.

Seth Taylor here. I'm sorry you left the ward; but, I bet you're going to love your new place. It looks so nice. I imagine with Annabelle walking, that she's getting into everything possible. Have fun with that!

Take care.
