AnaBelle Joyce Steinmetz was born Thursday, June 21st, 2007 at 1:25pm. She weighed in at 6lbs. 3oz. and was 20.5 in. long.
The labor for mommy was very long, and rough. We went in to the hospital at 6am on Wednesday morning with heavy contractions. We were there until 1 that afternoon until they sent us home because the contractions had calmed down. We spent the rest of the day at home waiting for the contractions to get heavier again. At 1:30am on Thursday morning, we headed back to the hospital. At around 3am, Ritchell's water broke. She continued to labor all morning until around 1pm when the doctors decided that she needed to have a c-section.
AnaBelle came out with her eyes wide open. She was put in the ICU because Ritchell had a fever of 104 degrees during the labor. AnaBelle is doing great! She was on oxygen for a little while and has been given antibiotics just as a pre-caution.
She is the cutest little baby I've ever seen. She looks just like her mother. We are extremely happy that she has finally arrived!
More news when I have it... I am currently only at the house for a few minutes and then will head back to the hospital to be with everyone. Ritchell and AnaBelle will be there for at least 3 more days.

Congratulations!!! She's a really cute baby! Glad to know mom and baby are both doing well, especially after that traumatic experience. Can't wait to see the new baby in person!

Congratulations to you guys!! I am so sorry to hear that Ritchell went thru a really tough time, but of that has come to pass, what matters now is that both mummy and bub are well:):) Im so happy for you Ritch, love Irene (Sis. Asingayan - from PQCM for a little bit:)
